A long, long time ago, when I first started walking the salsa path, my teacher back then told me once – “Dance like you want to seduce her…” And I did… Now, ten years later I often think about that…
The thing is – there’s a lot more to social dancing than just dancing itself. Actually, dancing is just one small part of the picture. Anybody can dance, the skills can be learned, but the overall impression – that’s a completely different story.
Now, think about all these salsa festivals and salsa weekends when guys from France, Italy and who knows where come here – the local girls are so excited and turned on and seem to have forgotten that local men exist too… 🙂 Why is it so? 🙂
Here’s an easy explanation – because of the “whole picture” that is better there. So, as I was saying before, dancing is just the tip of the iceberg. Want to know what is it all about? It’s about a couple of things deep down everybody knows but sometimes forgets or chooses to ignore – it’s about:
* being a gentleman
* looking and acting like gentleman
* dancing good and with passion
* making the lady look good
* making the lady feel special
* being awesome and enjoying it
Want an example? Here it is – you all have heard the phrase “My name is Bond… James Bond…” and you all know the way he looks and how he acts… and of course – the way he is with women… 🙂
Need more examples? Think of George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Antonio Banderas, Richard Gere…
Even though the whole picture consists of individual and inner conditions like ones interpretation of morality and ethics, ego and self respect, life experience, education, passion and (at last) dancing skills, there is also a part that can be very variable – ones appearance. And appearance (or style) is something that can be improved…
… and as John Malkovich said in “RED 2” movie – “Style is the only constant in life” 😉
That being said, let’s cut to the point… There are hundreds of resources out there giving style tips, but www.RealMenRealStyle.com is one I use to visit sometimes due to lots of useful information and easiness of understanding it. The founder of this style-tip website is Antonio Centeno – a regular, open and optimistic guy from whom we all could learn a thing or two.
So let’s hear what Antonio has to say…
And here it is – REAL MEN REAL STYLE website, go check it out!
Wishing you all the best! 😉
