20.03.10 “MamboLoco” school invites to a music lesson by a teacher and performer of Latin American music

ILDEMARO DIAZ

Ildemaro was born in Caracas (Venezuela), where he started his musical
education and career. He finished classical music school and also took
percussion lessons from world renowned performers such as Frank Márquez,
Luisito Quintero, Orlando Poleo, Alfredo Villamizar, José Matos and
Charlie Sierra, among others.

Now Ildemaro is an experienced percussion musician and a teacher.
In addition to lessons and master-classes he also finds himself in performing
and working as a music producer. Ildemaro has worked with
many well known performers as Gilberto Santa Rosa or Cuban band “Los VanVan”.

In his lessons Ildemaro tells about different genres of Latin American
music, their peculiarities and meaning. He explains to dancers, how to use
the knowledge they got in their classes in connection with music.
He teaches to understand and feel the music, to become part of the orchestra.
